I was drinking with my best friend and another buddy on Saturday night.

We got on the topic of fetishes because our other buddy has a known body hair fetish.

I kind of beat around the bush by saying that I'm kind of ashamed of mine and didn't really want to admit to it.

I asked my best friend of 11 years "What about you, dude? You into any certain proclivities?"

He paused for a minute and said "Honestly dude, I'm really into pregnant women."

My heart fucking burst. I was so happy. The biggest of bro-fists and hugs were given.

I identify with this guy on so many levels, and he has always had my back and vice-versa. To know that we're belly-bros, too, makes me so fucking happy.

Like, it might not seem like a big deal, but I've always been really ashamed about my pregnancy fetish to the point where I've never actually admitted it to anyone. Even though I know the general common rate of the fetish, I always felt pretty lonely in it because despite having a friend group that is pretty open about its sexuality, nobody I know has ever expressed it openly or copped to it.

It honestly made me feel a lot less alienated and closer to someone that has been an important figure in my life. I'm fucking stoked.

That's pretty awesome. I've been in, and still am in, the same boat you were in. I've had this fetish for as long as I can remember and there's a part of me that is ashamed of it. Over the years I've become more accepting of it as part of who I am, whereas in the past I thought there was something wrong with me. But I've also never admitted it to anyone out of fear of what they would think. My friends especially. It would be great to find that one of my friends has the same fetish or have the luck to find a significant other who shares it, like some others I've seen on here.

That feel when none of your friends share your fetish

Just wanted to share two cents. I was also ashamed/guilted by it for a long time. Well into my 20's. I was scared to open up to people and it was this deep dark secret that I never wanted anyone to know. I don't want anyone else feeling those feelings because it's not right. Murble, my hope for you is that you have more experiences like this that help release the burden or loneliness of the fetish so that it can become more normalized for you and not be something to be ashamed about. Nowadays I'll straight up tell people (in the right conversation/context of course) or tell dating partners or whatever like it's no big deal and I've never gotten an odd response. Usually people are just curious and ask a few quesitons and that's it and we move on to the next topic. It's been so liberating and my hope is that anyone burdened by this thing can be released from it and feel normal because you are!
