May i ask you how you saved the private shows from your collection on your device?

There was a post on here that explained it better than I can but I can't find it anymore so here's my attempt.

If you're on chaturbate go to your collection and pick the show you want to save. I use firefox for this but Chrome probably works too. For some reason I have to pause the video at this point to make it work but your mileage may vary.

Right click anywhere and click the "Inspect" button. You'll see a bunch of tabs so look on the right for the one that says "Network." From there it has another list of tabs so find the "Media" one. There may a be a reload button in the window so click that if needed. Then it shows a list of jibberish filenames. Usually the one with the biggest blue bar is what you're looking for.

You can right click it to open in a new tab and it plays back like a regular mp4 video. On that new tab video you can just right click > Save As.

Hi all.  New here.  

Wanted to bump this up because I'm inquiring if there's any tool similar to x-streamloader (which I've been using for over a year), but with a pause recording funciton.

That's the only reason why I still use OBS in rare instances, but I also don't like using OBS because you're only screengrabbing and not capturing the source file, which has optimum output quality. It's just a pain capping 5-6 different files from a single cam session when you're only interested in certain portions of the show.

I'm guessing there probably aren't any GUI tools like streamloader with a pause recording function, but just thought I'd ask.  Thanks!

I personally use https://mastodon.cloud/@ctbrec for recording cams. It has a built-in browser and supports multi-stream recording. I nearly filled up an 8TB drive with all the streams I recorded.

Are there any good apps for android to record shows or YouTube?

A bit late here, but I use cam-recorder as that automatically records the models when they come online. Also supports jerkmate. cam soda, stripchat. Bonga cams. cams 4 free, flirt 4 free and streamate. It's pretty good.
For one off recording while browsing I use the Video DownloadHelper browser plugin, as that not only downloads vids from sites but can also capture live streams in the background.

You can also download from Recurbate for free using the plugin, you can get as many as you want by using a VPN to change your IP between downloads.

The best tool to record in my opinion so far is Xbox game bar after tried a lot of different tool, it is easy to use, you don't have to download it as long as you use Window 10 it is a built-in app.
And now I show you my way to record a good video in my point of view, I use this way to record hundreds of camgirl from chaturbate, stripchat, myfreecams, camsoda, cam4 

Step 1. You click the Window button in the bottom-left corner and type in "Xbox game bar"




Step 2. After open Xbox game bar, you choose "Capture" 

 


Step 3. Move the gadget to the middle-right corner of the monitor, like this 




That's all about the setup. Now you're ready to record you favorite models

Now whenever you want to record, follow these step (I choose stripchat for example, because it is the most tricky site to record) 

Step 4. Press button F11 to active full screen mode,

Step 5. Press Ctrl + scroll down your mouse to minimize the letter "stripchat" on the bottom-right corner, I alway minimize to the lowest 25%

 


Step 6. Now you press F key to open fullscreen, move your cursor to the record button click to record and click again to stop, remember to keep the cursor in that area so that you will a perfect clear fullscreen like this (the "stripchat" letter is very tiny in bottom-right corner if you can see)

 

That is how I record cam, and I'm very satisfied with that method. I hope you can learn a new way to get a better video. Love you so much my friends

Haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but I found out about this today - yt-dlp can not only download videos from sites that typically wouldn't allow you to, such as most tube sites, but it also supports cam sites and other livestreams - without screen recording or even recompression, so it's light on CPU/GPU usage. It's free and open source, and has a bunch of useful features.

Setting it up depends on what OS you're on, but macOS and most major Linux distros have it through package managers such as Homebrew for macOS. To record cams, just run 

Quote:yt-dlp "cam-url-goes-here"

and it'll do the rest!
