As far as roleplay goes, talking about symptoms is a thing, i.e. the whole "i think I might be pregnant" deal. Some people can get off with just foodbabies/bloating if you two were both into that it could kinda work. You would need a high powered tens machine which maybe more like contractions and quite painful.
As the maternity one isn't strong enough to stimulate muscles.
