For me, once labor starts (including when the water breaks) the appeal of pregnancy is gone. It symbolizes that something I was so physically attracted to and excited about is about to end, and she's either going to be in pain (if no epidural) or laid up in bed for hours and unable to do anything (if epidural). When it was my wife, my focus shifted immediately to the child about to be born. When it's random girls on the Internet or people I know IRL, I've completely lost interest.
