linking is still a pretty bad idea, especially when they have a large following, there are creeps on this site, that's why people don't link.
So might be a good idea to edit your post.

I do see where you’re coming from. But, with 700k followers I’m sure she has already ran into the bad bunch of this community. I could see it making us as a whole look more “creepy”. Which in that case I do agree that linking should really be prohibited between peers.
