There is actually am in person event in my town. But they are also doing virtual ones too.

The in person event sounds severely gimped if they're only operating at 25% and having mandatory Covid prevention procedures. I doubt you'd be able to touch bellies more than just walking around taking candids.

You’re right, hiding in plain sight is definitely the move, MAYBE if I park close to a good belly and I see her on my way out I’ll say something but I don’t want to do anything inside the event.

There are companies who go there to promote and sell their products. Women get those products discounted and get some free gifts as well.

Are you really sure you want to do that? From what it seems on the site, the expo is supposed to be a safe space for moms and dads to be, a single guy being there with a phone in your shirt pocket is NOT hiding in plain sight. Once someone will notice the phone popping out from your pocket you'll be called out as a perv, and that's the best case scenario.
It just screams bad idea all over it, you'll be invading their space, even just as an observer.

I cannot stress enough how much I think this is a really, really bad idea.

You'd think all those preggos or women wanting to be would be a bad idea. There is an idea but its a little out the box. Try doing like some people here and making a fake belly. Then pretend to be pregnant. You could pretend to be a woman or a trans guy. People should believe you and you won't look suspicious. It beats walking around like a oddball

Don't want to sound rude, but if going there was a bad idea, going there AS A GUY pretending to be pregnant is probably even worse.

Not going is the best option. Stop pretending all pregnant girls likes those kind of attention, for one that loves it there are 10 who does not.

I would as above already mentioned just be around the parking zone or somewhere where you know that the audience normally would roam.. That would solve a whole lot of headache..
It will also give you a lot of options to film, take pictures and be entertained for hours ))
As the rest already mentioned, eventhough it would be great experience to go too close to that 'safe zone' ...there is only 1 woman or sjw needed on the spot to ruin your life....
