Hoping some female members can provide some perspective. How do girls into pregnancy feel about birth? For those of you not into birth, is it just flat out resignation to the fact that you're going to go through something really painful? Does the pregnancy fetish help you get through it? What's it like for those who plan to have kids to always know that the birth at the end is going to hurt quite a bit? Enjoying pregnancy and while knowing the pain to come must be an interesting mix of emotions.
For me, I always wonder what's going on in happy pregnant women's heads; how do they look ahead to the agonizing end to their pregnancy? I especially enjoy watching birth videos with early labor while the woman is still happy and smiling. I like to imagine that inside they're terrified at what they're about to go through but are trying to hide it, and then watch their composure slowly slip as the contractions get more and more intense. The bigger the contrast between non-contraction and contraction the better; one moment it's happy and smiling and the next they're whimpering and moaning. Bonus points if they keep trying to keep their spirits up between contractions and/or talk about how they talk about how things hurt and are only going to get worse and worse.
