Mel Blatt from All Saints in 1998. Can we just appreciate how good this was.

Genuinely, the thing that set this love of pregnant women off inside me all those years ago was that front cover of OK! magazine with the side on view of Melanie Blatt's bump.  Honestly blew my mind.  An all time classic, this one!  Massive thanks for posting all these.

Definitely the same with me. I had a love of pregnant women before hand but when Mel Blatt was pregnant in 1998 and showed off her bump and did those photo shoots for magazines it made me realise I love pregnant women. You're welcome for the posting.

These give me major Hayley Williams vibes. Lets hope its a good sign.

These pictures are so memorable to me I can tell you exactly where I was when I first saw them. I remember, quite clearly, I was on holiday in Devon at the time. I was in a shopping centre and we went into a W H Smiths and there, in front of me, stood that light blue GQ Magazine cover. I quite literally stood there for a good minute or more whilst pretending to look around in that vicinity for something else. I purposefully took my time. I sooooo wanted to buy that magazine for that picture alone (I've no idea if any more were inside) but as a then young teenager with a pregnancy fetish, on holiday with the parents having had no previous desire to buy GQ - I naturally chickened-out, never bought it or said anything. That picture though... Crikey! That stuck in my mind very clearly for the remaining few days we were on holiday and even after we got home. Her belly button seriously appealed to me. Close to perfect. Obviously back in those days I only had dial-up internet and my time on it was very limited, but I recall spending many weeks looking out for new pictures of her whilst pregnant. 

I developed a crush for her for a number of years after that, too. 

It certainly was the most memorable pregnancy of the 90s for me and still pushing a quarter of a century on, one I consider to be up there with one of my favourites. 

I just wanted to share my story with Melanie Blatt's pregnancy! Sorry if it bored anyone - but it really is one I remember so fondly! A true modern classic.
