I've heard of women whose only (or at least main) ambition is to be a mother. Would it be weird for there to be men out there with a similar mentality: all they want to do is be a dad?
I ask because so much is expected of men in our society, and stay-at-home dads aren't considered one of the most revered jobs for men...

Why would it be weird? If you feel your purpose and happiness in life is to be a father, then that's what to do!
I think the mentality regarding stay-at-home dads is finally changing. Being a good parent is hard work, period, and it's nice to see men stepping up to take on the challenge of doing it full-time.

No it's not weird at all. In fact, one of my main goals in life is to have a son to name after and carry on my family legacy.

Why the hell not? You won't have to deal with the bs of work place politics and you can raise your kids the way you want. Not to mention the added bonus that the wife will be the one on the hook for child support and alimony if the marriage ends. It's a win win for the guys that can do it.

Stay at home dads? I never heard of society expecting much from us. All I hear is i equality in pay. Stay at home parents are bad because one parent has to work for 2 or more people. Who wants to do that? Id never come home. Id eventually tell my wife to get a job.
But if the moms goal is to only have kids then they need to watch out. Each kid cost 250K over 18 years (without disabilities). I love pregnancy but the only way im gettin a kid is through a science lab. I dont wait for aything unless it comes from japan. Too bad theres no device that can make a woman look & feel pregnant anytime. Now that would be a great idea

Speaking of Japan, they're making great strides in sex robot technology so, who knows? Maybe in 20 or 30 years when the tech is good enough and popular, we could get something that caters to us.

That's a thought, but a pregnant sex robot will probably be absurdly expensive. Just look how expensive the pregnant RealDoll is!

True but, when manufacturing costs come down and decent demand, the prices will eventually come down.
