After you complete the face swap and are satisfied with the results tap ‘APPLY’ then ‘SAVE’ 
You’ll see a checkmark appear indicating the photo was saved. Tap the ‘X’ to exit and return to the editing screen. That’s it. Don’t click the button below that shows the two images before you tap the upper right corner  ‘SAVE’ button unless you want a before and after comparison pic.
