I knew a girl who got preg at 17 who did all of the above. We were friends in hs and I gotta admit, as much as I was attracted to her during and after her pregnancy, the fact that she used cloth diapers was pretty gross to me.

Not a teen mom but when my oldest was about a month old and we were moving to Arizona, there, there was a woman who had a baby of a similar age and yelled at my wife for throwing out a diaper and eating McDonald's while breastfeeding.

I've known 20-40 something year old women who fit the profile of such kind of mothers, who want to go back to nature and are somewhat liberal when it comes to cultural or social norms. I noticed they are open about sexuality, being pregnant and can't keep a lot of things to themselves. This trend started by hippies in the late 1960s-1970s and popularized by some yuppies in the 1980s-early 1990s anyways.

Accurate description of my cousin in her 20's who would then have a meltdown at anyone who reacted like anything she did was strange. Got involved with some hippie mom group that encouraged her and mainly dug her feet into it to piss off her mother by doing anything that would be contrary to her opinion. Around where I'm from my general impression is any woman like this tends to be very unpleasant to speak to or interact with in general.

In relation to this thread about "hippy/Liberal/Earth moms": I found a photo of my Mom pregnant with me have this 70s "astrology is in" though close to 1980 maternity shirt (the photo only has the shirt)...it had "Pisces" which is her moon sign, but she believed I would been born like Feb 19-29 in 1980 (I came earlier under an Aquarius sun and she has a Taurus sun, an "earth sign")...actually, 1' Pisces is cusp Aquarius and I'm a late Aquarius baby despite her "Pisces Moon Momma Mood". And I don't have the shirt in her house, because Mom gave that shirt to our Pisces sun family friend to wear in her pregnancies.
