I was looking for a thread about editing videos but couldn't seem to find one. I wanted to ask about exporting, my files seem to be too big. For example a 20 minute video is about 2gbs which seems to big. Any suggestions?

That size sounds about right for a high quality 1080p H.264 video - roughly 1GB per 10 minutes.  There are other codecs, resolutions, and quality settings to try though.  Handbrake is indeed a good app to use if you want to experiment with compressing it even further.

Handbrake is exactly what I use for large files. Especially ios recordings from my ipad. For editing I use quicktime on mac.
