There was a bug that was causing PMs to be disabled when changing user CP settings -- which impacted my account too -- that's now been fixed.

As an update: I've forced PMs to be enabled for all members of the forum.

If somehow someone still can't be messaged, definitely post here, but the problem should be permanently fixed.

Sorry for the delay @Belly Button -- I've disabled your ability to receive messages. @"ILovePregnants" I did the same for you, however I'm wondering if you were simply receiving a bunch of buddy request notifications.

No problem at all! We all have our own private lives to lead and can't always be here to respond! There wasn't any buddy requests or anything of that nature. The reason behind it is that I've had a couple of poor experiences with private messaging in the distant past (one on here which I'm pleased to say was swiftly dealt with at the time and another elsewhere - not related to this place at all) and generally speaking, I much prefer public interactions on the forum threads instead. Those experiences I had just cemented what my preference already was. 

I will indeed post on here or message you if I change my mind in the future.
