As the title says I'm not accepting anymore commissions right now. The reason...?
There's so many of you that want commissions! That's good. I am extremely humbled by the amount of requests I've been getting, and I'm ecstatic by how much you guys enjoy my work.
I just have pause though because my schedule is about close up really tight in about a month or so. I work as a public school teacher. When the COVID-19 lockdown happened in my state, it was during my spring break and went all the way to the end of the school year. Needless to say, I had lots of free time- a lot which I dedicated to writing your commissions as well my own personal material.
My school year is planned to pick up again mid July (it's an early start school district). I bring this up only because writing during my work schedule overkill on my brain. It takes me exponentially longer to finish a commission than my normal 2-4 weeks some of you are familiar with, so I'd rather just avoid it as it takes way longer and the writing quality goes down.
For those of you who I have already spoken to and agreed to your projects, I'm still going to write them as we discussed. The remaining time I have until I'm supposed to go back to work should be enough time to complete those. I'm just not taking any more new ones right now to add on after that.
If it so happens that schools stay closed in my state because of covid, it's very likely I'll open up for business again. But we'll just have to play it by ear.
