What's with the mods randomly locking threads all of a sudden? There was nothing controversial, nor was there any bickering or flame wars. It's even a current pregnancy, so it wasn't necro-bait at all.

Maybe not on your end, but this site's been bugging out on me for quite some time. Almost every time I want to login, I have to either refresh the page or open the site in another window just to get in. As well as the previous mention of threads either getting deleted or temporarily being locked. I would bring this up more often, but it seems like Admin and pregphil are too busy with their own personal lives to regularly check up on this place. So it wasn't worth waiting for them to get through a backlog of site tasks and fix the site.

I remember there previously being issues with the server provider, along with weird surges in trafffic from China.

There was a DNS issue this morning and the site was unreachable, even using Google's DNS. That's fixed. Is this still happening on your end @Feunski?
@"1Way" I'm not aware of any threads being locked outside of the kind @auto_asphyx alluded to. Can you point me to a recent example or two? This is something we definitely want to be made aware of -- PMing or reporting is the best way to get my attention (as opposed to tagging). PS - I've merged two Emma Roberts threads. The other thread wasn't closed. Maybe not on your end, but this site's been bugging out on me for quite some time. Can you elaborate on what happens when you log in? Do you mean you're not redirected from this page? https://preggophilia.com/member.php?action=login Please bring up any and all bugs. These are high priority. At this point, the site shouldn't be nearly as sluggish as it was in 2019. For example, 503s should not be appearing outside of rare instances.

Everytime I try to log in, when I enter my username/password and click login, I get stuck on the login page. I have to either refresh the page 2-3 times or right click the Preggophilia logo an open to a new page to successfully log in. 
It happens every time I want to login to the site.

Please try logging into the site not using incognito mode. That's probably part of what's going on here. For troubleshooting purposes, when you're in incognito mode, try the following: 1) Log out. 2) Stay logged out and go here: https://preggophilia.com/search.php 3) You'll be prompted to log in, but this will be a different login page. Log into that page and see what happens when you're in incognito mode. Let me know if it redirects properly or not. | |||||||||||||||||||
