The woman wearing the fake belly was Joe Cruz wife (there was a baby shower in the end of the episode.)

Watched 9-1-1 season 5 premiere, and Jennifer was on it, you could see what looks like the start of her IRL bump, which I’m assuming the show writers will pass off as baby weight, until she really starts showing, unless they want to incorporate her pregnancy as a second pregnancy for her character Maddie. Which would seem kind of like a catholic or Irish twins thing. 2under2 maybe?

Exactly, and I also wish that the DP would choose to brighten up the image a little bit so that you could see her better

@Hunn2020 Everything you see for the first few episodes was shot last spring. She is still on maternity leave for another month or so. You’ll see how they have her leave temporarily.

I figured as much, so we might still see the start of her IRL pregnancy unless the show runners decide to disguise it with baggy clothes or conveniently placed shots or objects in the way.
