I love looking at candids as much as the next guy, but to me its not worth the risk of taking them.

I’d much rather invest the time/energy in trying to get to feel the belly haha

Just apologize & lie your ass off. You could say: "I was taking pics to make a college for you for ehen the baby comes so you have good memories." If you say that she will understand & not be upset. It is also helpful to ask her if she is upset or not. Btw what did you do with the pics you took?

Have you communicated with her since the incident? At least you hopefully didn't freak out. I take lots of pics in public, I just act like I'm looking at a grocery list. Every woman in both sides of my family is usually pregnant every year (surrogates) & I have a cousin that literally gets sperm donors just to enjoy pregnancy every year. I had to put pics & vids on a flash drive to not clog up my phone.
