mega.nz garbage site deleted everything because it was over 20gb (back in the day they gave you 50gb for free for a month). they may delete everything if you are inactive for too long. I don't know. I just know it is a garbage site. oh also sometimes they flag videos for copyright and you can't do nothing with the file no download no watching. the only thing you can do is delete the file. but if you have the files in a folder (for some reason only the folder gets fucked. this does not work alway it depends. sometimes they just straight up delete the videos because of copyright) you can move it to another folder and the files are saved.

they also have this undecrypte bug where you can't watch/download your files but others with the shared link can. but you can solve this bug easy by moving the files to another folder.

So the fault here is trusting a foreign file hosting service for long term storage in the first place. I find it hilarious when people where claiming for this to replace Google Drive, when its even worse.

mega is way better if you want to share in public. if you don't want to share in public and keep everything private google drive is better (because it basically keeps your files forever even if you don't log in for years). google drive often just takes a couple days until your shit is flagged and they flag basically everything once you are on their list. mega rarely flags your videos and it takes months until it is flagged. on google you can still download your flagged videos but reupload does nothing if you want to share it again. mega you can just reupload or put it in other folder and you are fine to share again.
