My favourite topic!
Belly buttons are the 'face' of the belly. I'm attracted to them them regardless of they're on a pregnant belly or not, but for the purposes of this topic, lets stick to pregnant examples.
My absolute favourites are those which remain an innie, but shallow, distort and stretch. To me, that shows a progressive expansion and stretching of the belly - with the belly button clearly showing itself to be under strain and what weight must be behind it to cause it to go that way...and what are the chances of it returning to it's pre-pregnancy state afterwards... I love thinking about all of this.
I'm also fine with them more or less flattening to the surface - providing you can still see some sort of belly button shape left.
Belly buttons that show no very little or no change during pregnancy? Hmmm... I do like them (and more so than an 'outie' - more on that very shortly) but if I was a pregnant woman seeing that - I'd probably feel slightly "cheated", although I know there would be some who'd probably think they'd 'got away' with it and considered themselves lucky! From my own observations, these occurrences are pretty rare. Most common on bellies that are usually 'chunkier' than average pre-pregnancy. I suspect the lack of notable change is down to the increased layer of fat which 'absorbs' more of the pressure as the belly expands.
I know I won't be popular for saying this and it's something I've said in the past on more than one occasion, but I don't personally like 'outies'. The larger they are, the more ungainly they appear in my eyes. Each to their own of course and I accept I'm in the minority of our members, but they just don't do anything for me personally. If they're just raised above the surface slightly, that's fine. I don't mind that. Especially if it's gone though the above stages I've just described before-hand. It's those which are clearly pushed an inch or so out are off-putting to me.
Anyway, it's good to read all the replies to this topic, so far.

Anyway, it's good to read all the replies to this topic, so far. I think this is a pretty interesting opinion. I completely understand the reasoning for outies. Sometimes, they can be absolutely huge that it kinda looks weird or ugly. But to me, I absolutely love outies because it’s a giveaway that they’re actually pregnant and it instantly makes me more attracted to a pregnant belly. But as to why it makes me more attracted to a belly, I can’t really explain it. It’s one of those things that I love but can’t really explain. But if a woman has a big outie, then I’m instantly attracted to it. Especially ones like these. https://xhamster.com/videos/pregnant-bel...ay-xhRWTTz

(January 22, 2022, 4:12 am)bellylover04 Like I’ve mentioned before, there are certain times when I do like innies. I think this belly is a perfect example of when I prefer innies. The main problem with innies is that they’re usually seen on bellies that don’t exactly look pregnant. Her belly has the roundness of most pregnant bellies but just has an innie, which I love. If you’re wondering the source, here it is. https://xhamster.com/videos/pregnant-soda-bloat-xhPWSJn Now that's a great example of a pregnant innie! I like the fact that it's retained what I assume is it's pre-pregnancy 'oval' shape and has shallowed under pressure. I'd imagine the side 'walls' of her belly button would be feeling pretty tight/rock-solid at this stage as the skin stretches. I'm surprised it retains that shape given her size - unless she may have been overweight pre-pregnancy. I do like them when they show some resistance as the pregnancy progresses, so the changes are relatively subtle and it can still relate to it's pre-pregnancy self for at least some portion of the pregnancy. (Again, I won't hide the fact that I do like some moderate distortion/stretching!)
I'd imagine it would return to 'near-normal' post pregnancy - which in my eyes is another bonus.
Anyway, apologies for not replying back to you any sooner on this. I've got a lingering computer issue ongoing at the moment, so I'm very much playing 'catch up' on the forum!

My favorite belly buttons are ones like Linda_evans has. I think it's the result of having a navel piercing before being pregnant?

I'm generally not a fan of navel piercings. I prefer them to be natural. Piercings cover their beauty, to me!
However with that being said, during pregnancy, the hole above the navel is a good indication of just how much the skin has to stretch at the very front of the belly. The hole, as per Rafterman's picture, becomes a wide slit. I've always wondered if that hurts or itches at all.
