But that hairstyle is also a very common black hairstyle. The hairstyle did originate in Africa. So since she's black with that hairstyle, I would never think she's a hippie because that hairstyle didn't come from hippies. I would think that's just a normal hairstyle that some black people have. I'm not attacking you btw, just building off of what longsword said.

This is an odd place to see cultural discussions on what certain ethnic features ought to be called. Just saying.

It's a hair style...not an ethnic feature...my former boss had the most badass dreads ever and she was as white as they come, Italian to be specific. Ain't got nothin' to do with nothin' ethnic.
