To be fair birth control is not effective anymore. They just lie to take women's money there's thousands & thousands of vlogs, blogs & posts about women & girls who got pregnant on many types. There's a girl named Mkayla (used to be on TLCs Unexpected) who literally tweeted thay no birth control works on her.  The pills & stuff is really at the most 35% effective. If the companies said the real %age then they would get sued.

I also follow a girl who is 18 or 19 now with 3 kids.. 2 or 3 different dads. She is trying porn on Onlyfans but I hope it fails cus the boobs will go down. There's a girl who is 21 or 22 who has 3 kids (1st pregnancy with 1 kid & a twin pregnancy.) She does porn on the side & works at a weed shop. Ever heard of a girl named Megan (JourneywithJax)? I'd have to say that some of those anecdotal stories (as that's all they are until hard evidence, citations, and peer reviewed studies have confirmed them) are just that, stories.

That being said, I've no doubt that there are some females for whom chemical contraceptives don't work, and IMHO it's a genetic issue.  Take, for example, Cilantro.  There are people who have no problems with it.  Then there are others for whom the plant tastes like soap.  The cause is a specific olfactory gene group.  it would not surprise me in the least if there is a subset of the population for whom chemical contraceptives don't work, similar to how there are people who are allergic to latex.

Additionally, there is more than one form of "Birth Control."  There are chemical inhibitors (the pill.)  There are physical inhibitors (condoms, IUD's, diaphragms, etc etc etc.)  So just saying "Birth control doesn't work as well as they say" is totally dishonest, as it is lumping everything into one label.

Also, as I've learned from my decades of experience in various online forums and review boards, you're always going to have a disproportionate population voicing their displeasure at a particular product or topic than you ever will singing it's praises. That's because people who are dissatisfied are far more motivated to spread the word about something that, for them, has failed.

And finally, saying the companies are inflating their numbers to prevent getting sued is bogus, as well.  They'd be sued for "false advertisement" in that case.  In reality, if their numbers were so low and actually advertised it, no one would use it, or at least not at the rates people do today.
