All labour and delivery room questions are welcome as long as the questions don’t directly pertain to the baby. Like how the experience was for me and my body is fine to ask. Smile

I chose to be induced, so the doctors broke my waters for me. I had bad sciatic and hip rotation pain and could not walk or get out of bed at the end and I just wanted it to be over. I was worried that labour would be too painful if I continued to deteriorate physically, as just laying in bed was hurting a lot so i couldn’t even imagine if it got worse how painful labour would be! At exactly 40 weeks, on the day, I went into the hospital and they put a hormone cream inside me to soften my uterus or something, and then they waited awhile and then they broke my waters! All of a sudden.... it was on! Labour via induction is often fast and furious. At only 3cm dilated, I was having a near death experience from the pain. The contractions feel like your body is trying to kill you!

1. I was very uncomfortable because I was very fit before becoming pregnant, so I had fairly nice subtle abs, and my growing belly pushed under the ab muscles. My abs + a pregnant belly made it constantly feel like I was wearing clothes that were 8 sizes too small! My muscles constricted my belly and it felt so tight and uncomfortable. Eventually, my abs split in half (which is bad, you don’t want this) but it felt really good. I could finally breathe, and my belly showed so much more and looked huge all of a sudden. My muscles let it free.

Skipping the belly play questions, but I wore black lace lingerie with heels and a bit of turquoise lace. I also LOVED wearing thigh high stockings.

1. Cravings, was there anything you absolutely needed to have that was outright weird, or something you've never even tasted before?

2. You've said earlier in the thread that your pregnancy practically exploded in the late term. How well did the recovery go? Did your body bounce back quickly from the ordeal?

3. If you had a choice, what would you want to happen differently during your next pregnancy?

At 3am most nights I would wake up, eat a pickle, and go back to sleep.

My abs have not recovered, I have trouble lifting my child sometimes. But looks-wise, I was very lucky, basically when the baby came out, my body suddenly looked oretty close to as if I hadn't had a child. In the first week following my pregnancy, my boobs were huge from my milk coming in, and my stomach was fairly flat so I actually felt super -sexy. I wish my boobs could stay like that forever, haha. I did not get any stretch marks on my belly whatsoever.

3. If you had a choice, what would you want to happen differently during your next pregnancy?
If I had a choice, I wouldn't feel nauseous, I would have more energy, and.... make even more videos ^_^
