So, I'm a worldbuilder/fantasy writer.
One of my worldbuilding projects, currently WIP-named ''Project Sekai'' is an erotic action series that is strongly influenced by Naruto and Avatar. It is set on a planet called ''Sekai'', more specifically the Sekainese continent of ''Shinowa'' which is divided into 5 elemental nations that are locked in a state of seemingly perpetual cold war over violent and ceaseless territorial and resource disputes. The elemental nations wage their wars with guerilla foot soldiers known as ''Shinobi'' who are a combination of Naruto's Shinobi and Benders from Avatar, ( they are just slightly stronger than the latter on average ). All of the elemental nations save for the Nation of Lightning are divided into administrative regions that are based on subsets of their nation's element. As an example of Project Sekai's erotic nature, 3 of the Nation of Water's states are based on bodily fluids, semen, breast milk, and blood to be specific. Currently, Project Sekai does not have a primary story or any fleshed-out characters.
Anyway, on to the point of this post.
I'd like to share a concept for Project Sekai that I think some people in this community may like. This concept is unofficially scrapped as I really like it but I have found it to be too convoluted. A recent discussion I had with someone on Twitter inspired me to share this concept here.
Basically, in the world of Project Sekai, there are 10 titanic creatures simply known as the Kaiju. They are unimaginably destructive and immortal creatures of pure rage that were created millennia ago by a species of aliens known as the ''Tsukihito'' for an ancient war between them and the people of Sekai, The Tsukihito were destroyed in the war but they unleashed the Kaiju as a scorched earth policy. The people of Sekai could not kill the Kaiju but a Tsukihito named ''Tōrimichi'' who had allied with the people of Sekai found a way to neutralize the Kaiju by performing an extraordinarily powerful one-time ritual that would temporarily revert the Kaiju to a late-term fetal state. The fetal Kaiju were then inserted into the wombs of 10 ''undesirable youths'' whose bodies were enchanted to function as indestructable prisons of flesh for the Kaiju. As long as the Kaiju were in an enchanted womb, they would not grow, and could not be born. They would ceaselessly try to escape their fleshy prisons, subjecting the 10 youths to endless discomfort but it would have no effect.
The 10 ''undesirable youths'' who were forced to carry the Kaiju became known as the ''Keimusho'' ( WIP name ), their bodies would inadvertently absorb some of the Kaiju's energy granting them eternal youth in the process. The Sekainese despised any form of immortality and thus the Keimusho were subject to discrimination as their bodies were viewed as a mockery to the sacred flow of the time
Although the Keimusho had eternal youth, they did not have eternal life, and although their bodies would not visibly age, they were susceptible to injury, disease, and time. Furthermore, if a Kaiju was removed from a Keimusho's body, the Keimusho would die. When a Keimusho's body began to fail, the Kaiju would be transferred into the womb of another ''undesirable youth'' who would face the same discriminatory behavior. The people of Sekai knew that physically harming a Keimusho could allow the Kaiju to break free so they opted for social discrimination, turning the Keimusho into ''untouchables''
Also FYI, the Sekainese people are naturally intersex, hence why I didn't use the term ''women'' to refer to the Keimusho.
The reason why I have unofficially scrapped this concept is because although I like incorporated strange fetishes into my world, I also like logical worldbuilding and it seems apparent to me that the Kaiju could have easily been imprisoned in a giant crystal or something without all the body horror.
Whatever the case, I want to know your opinions on this concept? Do you like it or not? Any questions about the concept?
