The purpose of this thread is NOT to discuss the morality/immorality/amorality of the practice of taking candids. I'm not judging anyone for that and I would appreciate if we don't go there. Fact is, people take candids and share them here, and that's that. Moving on...

What I'd like to know is... what goes through your minds when you share stuff that you know could totally get you caught? Not just that you could get caught while taking the photos, but that you could get caught by saying something like "These are photos of my neighbor's daughter." Like... dude, if they ever found that, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out it was your ass taking those photos and uploading them to a fetish site. Boom, you're outed, and there are probably social consequences. Maybe even legal ones, I dunno.

I noticed this thread today and just thought to myself: if this woman ever saw these, she'd immediately know who's been taking them. Then what?

Right. What really is going through those guys head?! Work is a no-no...That's what I've always said, some guys are so desperate that they'll capture the first belly they come across. MOST of the time they're barely even pregnant! You can't even see it, and then they'll claim it's "huge" lol. Case in point with that thread...8 months and can't even see anything, like, why even? But they can't keep themselves in check long enough and HAVE to post something. That's dangerous.

Not only are they threatening their livelihood, but they're essentially compromising the site! That's why I always say: have a standard! Most people appreciate a big belly, so why even bother with anything less? A capture is a capture is the worst mindset I've ever heard of.

I see lots of beautiful pregnant women when I'm out and about but I wouldn't ever take photos of them. I would fear getting caught and I know it would it may make them feel uncomfortable.

Never got the whole fascination with taking and posting candidids or bragging about a belly rub that lasted less than 10 seconds. I have only taken a candid once and that was in the hospital after our oldest was born and it was of my wife and new baby.

I’ve just never personally understood the whole mentality for taking candids. Like sure, we’ve all seen someone in public we think looks perfect, and in our case many of us have seen pregnant women that fit the description. I just don’t get why people feel the need to take pictures and post them here. If anything big happens and we land in the news again, that would probably be the first thing people look at.

There is technically only one teen section and a subsection, now.

We all have opinions about various types of content. And that's fine. But I specifically want to hear from people who take candids and then share them here with hints that would make them personally identifiable. I want to understand the thought process there. Is it fearlessness? The excitement of sharing a "conquest"? The thrill of putting something out there that could get you caught? What? Help me see.

As an ex-candid taker, it just made me feel like I'm contributing something.

I don't take them anymore because of the risk.

They probably don't. Thank goodness. But because the site exists, the content exists, and the posters sometimes give clues as to how they know the women in the content, there's opportunity for someone to connect the dots. And again, I'm not shaming anyone for any of that. We all have an opinion about it. I just want to understand the mindset of someone who opens himself up to such a risk.
