Doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about Chicken. It's not as dangerous as you make it sound, she's got no reason not to. Pregnancy is pregnancy and I guarantee you that this virus isn't slowing the procreation of our species a bit. I think shes more than capable of taking the proper precautions to keep herself and the baby safe.
Hope you enjoy yourself love, it's a wonderful thing you're doing for someone else. How much did like, just wanting to be pregnant factor into your decision?

People that used IVF stopped in the beginning of this crap. So how would you be able to do it. Plus everyone has a paycut. Most are either temporary or permanent laid off & the essential workers worry about dying. It would be best for you & the coiple to: not carry someone elses kids until you get vaccinated. Surrogates probably have to keep the kids that aren't there's anyways and thats hard enough.

I actually started about a few weeks before everything went south, so at the time it was a great idea.

I actually had a pretty bad case of baby fever and have always been facinated with pregnancy. The most important thing was that some friends wanted to start a family and I could help

Good luck, seems like a great, selfless act in a troublesome time! Helping start a family for people that may have difficulty is a beautiful thing to do, intrinsically.

At the risk of triggering the "You are going to kill my grandma" crowed I have to say that lots of people are getting sick and tired of this pandemic nonsense. If you ask me its run its course and there is no need to live in fear. If people want to make babies let them screw like rabbits and make babies. This is not China where people are told they can only produce one child per family. I support women who become surrogate mothers. I find that method of pregnancy to be absolutely fascinating.

Are there any prerequisites to becoming a surrogate? Not saying that I want to be one (probably because I physically can't), but say I want a future gf/wife to become one. Would she have to have been pregnant before or can it be your 1st ever pregnancy?
