So I have this app called Ovia and it’s how I track when I am supposed to start my period, when it’s supposed to end, when I am ovulating and so on. Well I should e started my period today but haven’t. I wouldn’t be worried but me and my partner did have sex on 2 of my ovulating days and let’s just say it could be very possible I am pregnant. I usually go buy a test as soon as I’m late 1 day. Should I buy a test today or wait a couple days. I’ve had late periods before so it could be either or. My youngest is turning 11 months on the 26th…….. so I’m a bit paranoid right now. On top of that I am moving out of state to be closer to my mom who just found out this summer that she has leukemia. We also lost my sister in January 4 days after I gave birth. 
I’ll keep updated on this thread about the pregnancy test. Might go buy one today anyways lol.

If you had sex on fertile days and are late I would get a test. Keep in mind even if you have sex on non firtle days you could still get pregnant because sperm can live for a couple of days and catch an egg.

You probably know this already, but you should wait a week to ensure the most accurate results. Taking a pregnancy test too soon after a missed period increases the chance of a false negative, if the hCG levels haven't built up enough. Drinking too much fluids before taking the test can dilute your urine, also causing a false negative.

UPDATE!!! It came today. So most likely was just late a few days from stress. With this move & Christmas around the corner this mama has been OVER stressed. Thanks guys!

Darn I was hoping you were pregnant lol. I’ve been playing Sims 4 impregnating as many women as I can. They use a fertility tracker app on their phones to see when they are most fertile, period data and ovulation cycle. I did not know there was actually an app women could use in real life to obtain pregnancy related data.

What’s nice is sperm can survive up to 5 days after being ejaculated once they make it into the Fallopian tubes which gives them a really good chance to catch an egg(s).

@LTKNT101 yes there is a real app that lets you know when to expect your period, keep track of days you have sex, days you are most fertile etc. it’s very handy.
