What can we say, really?

I do have these thoughts:

Firstly, I think it's clear there's some pretty stupid and creepy stuff going on here. Some of the things this particular guy did are wrong, and we shouldn't allow them in our fetish communities.

Secondly, I think we as a community might have a problem regarding the gathering of content.

Thirdly - if you read the comments by the DailyMail readers on these articles, they seem to mostly fall into these categories:
- People ragging on social media and how bad they are, as well as calling out the women posting pregnancy pictures for being stupid
- People who think pregnancy is ugly and disgusting and shouldn't be shown (or at least be kept totally private)
- People who rag on about 'preggophiles' being disgusting sickos and freaks (and sometimes calling for action)

Is it just DailyMail readers (or a skewed subset of those) or does this actually reflect society at large? If it does, we live in pretty sad and worrisome times - and either society is becoming very "unfertile" minded, or getting way more conservative. Also, difficult times might be ahead for us preggophiles. Are DM readers just a bunch of neurotic social-media hating pregnancy haters or did I just have too many illusions about the modern openness regarding pregnancy and sexuality? Are we perhaps still small-minded Victorians and sourpusses after all?

Fourth, am I alone in this or do things like this get others around here questioning about the fetish?

I agree with all of this, not only do i question this fetish but i also wonder about the people on this website. the lengths this man went to get photos just downright freaks me out s little.
Murble
Is he that weirdo who demanded to be called The King of twinners or some such?

He has kind of set off my creeper radar for some time now.

It is straight up disgusting.

We have touched on the subject here in the past. These pictures do not come out of thin air. Taking them is taking them from someone who likely did not have this particular purpose in mind.

This is why it is hard for me to post content. Posting porn and camgirls is one thing. They know what it is about, and what they are getting into. But when you are stealing Facebook or Instagram photos... you are invading and sexualizing someone's identity and image. It's not a flagrant red zone given the nature of privacy on the internet... but it is definitely a grey zone. And one with some sticky circumstances.

I know a lot of us talk about the notion of acceptance and removal of stigma, but this is the underbelly (pardon the pun) of that issue. You don't win hearts and minds, and you don't prove how much you are not a creep by taking someone's personal photos and posting them on a porn site.

I will condemn none. I am here. I am a part of this. I am no better than anyone for that. But I think we need to acknowledge this moral grey area as a community if we want to move beyond being witch hunted when things like this come to public light.

I really want to question to fetish itself (rather than perhaps some issues regarding content/content gathering), but with the apparent dislike of pregnancy and disapproval of the fetish, that's what ends up happening for me.

We can ask all sorts of questions regarding what's okay and what's not regarding content gathering, but what this guy did is not right, and it makes our community look really, really bad. What all this would or should mean regarding taking publicly available pictures from profiles or other sources, I don't know. It's a grey zone and I really don't know how we could or should deal with this.

For one, luring people to post pics like that is pretty fucked up. But at the same time....if it sickens them that much, maybe don't post pictures of that sort online where anyone can see them?

Hate the fact there are such creeps/screwed up individuals in the community though. One person makes us all look like creepy basement dwellers
PreggoFetish
Damn it, this dude is a complete idiot. He shouldn't have done this, and he shouldn't have done it so stupidly.
