She has a condition that causes a permanent swelling of her abdomen. It's a bit oddly shaped compared to pregnancy, but looks pretty close! It certainly causes her some discomfort and annoyance in life, but after talking with her a bit, she stays pretty active and is in good spirits, and doesn't let it get her down! "permanent swelling" as in stays big or doesn't stop growing? i've never heard of a condition like this

It's an issue with her liver I think, seems to be a bit bigger and a bit smaller in various pictures, not sure if that's just due to pose/angle/etc or if the swelling goes up and down.
