30 megabytes is way too large for a picture. The admin directed me to your thread and I think this might be the problem. To my knowledge, this limit applies only to individual pictures. Members have no limit in terms of quantity of attachments.

To rule out a general problem with posting, can you try publishing a normal-sized picture? The filesize limit is 6,500 kilobytes (6.3 MB roughly).

You could also try using a file size-reducing software like pixresizer- its free, and works really fast to reduce the size of large photos, especially for large batches of pictures.

I just did a test reply with a 2MB picture and it did not work for me. After browsing for the file, I clicked "add attachment" but it then went straight to posting the reply even though I did not click "post reply". The same thing happens when I click "update attachment", instead of uploading the file it just acts like I clicked "post reply" button.

Other threads seem to be able to post, so maybe this thread is broken...

I'm facing the same problem here, he're is what i do :

On "new attachment",
Browse only 1 picture, "update attachment",
Browse another 1, "update attachment"
Browse 1 more (max 3 pics), "update attachment"
Then "insert to post" , all of 3

Okay, finally had time to find my Photoshop program - install it - and decrease the size of a few pics. We will see if this works!

Sooo- the pics are right side up when I open them on my pc and after attaching they are rotated 90 degrees ... if you have issues just download and rotate - sorry, but this is the most aggravating site to post to! Jeesh,. Went back to PS to rotate 90 degrees CCLwise... see what happens...
