I saw the article the other day and I'm glad it talks about our community in a more honest way. The one issue I have with it is the sexism angle. I fail to see how a negative view on the pregnancy fetish is sexism against women. If anything, it stems from the desire to protect women as many see pregnancy as sacred.

I believe that our fetish is becoming more mainstream. Just look at how celebrities are idolized when they are pregnant. Eventually the pregnancy fetish won't be taboo anymore. It's just a matter of time. It's due to the entire sexual attitude worldwide becoming more laid back. 10 years ago did you know what a BBW was? Now it's an acceptable term and big women embrace their beauty. The same will happen for pregnant women very soon

Great point, and ultimately why I have a great amount of confusion as to why our fetish is still considered taboo. You're seeing, as you said, pregnant celebrities being idolized and when they keep pumping out nude pregnancy magazine shoots, how can that not be viewed as sexy in the eyes of some of the populous? Makes no sense to me.

The weird fascination with pregnant celebrities isn't for their beauty, though. It's because people see it as one giant soap opera, and those are the characters. You'll still get an eyebrow raised at you if you point at the tabloid and say to the guy next to you, "damn, look at that belly, am I right?"
