This statement is ridiculous on so many levels. There are pretty clear demarcations on what constitutes sexual harassment. If you're not a total creep appropriate behavior should be common sense. For example, don't jack off into a plant in front of this teacher. Just asking her if you can touch it is innocent enough, people do it all the time. Really the worst thing that can happen is she'll say no and/or think you're some kind of weirdo.

You would think so but, I've read about some pretty crazy cases false accusations. It happens more often than you might think. Can't be too careful in these days.

Yeah, you'd think that. Things are changing -- some of it's past due, some of it's crazy and paranoid. But knowing how to behave better than a friggin' animal isn't enough anymore. I wouldn't want to see anyone on this forum who's decent enough to ask for advice on how to do this without spooking someone get nailed for something they were actively working to avoid.

I still don't see how asking his teacher to touch her belly can escalate anywhere near him being charged with sexual harassment. Not every woman today is going to scream sexual assualt over a simple question, unless she's a nutjob or an attention whore. He's asking if he can touch her belly, not to have sex.

My advise is to forget about this. I guess its sexual and if it really is, she will know, no matter how sophisticated way You try, believe me! At the end a very awkward feeling at the moment she realizes would be the only memory You can get from this and You would be very lucky to get away that cheap.

Dude the idea of this sounds so hot. I say go for it. The worst thing that can happen is she'll say no. You don't have to go into a big spill about your sister or cousin when they were pregnant. Just be up front and ask. Tell her you are curious about how a pregnant belly feels and would like to feel hers for scientific purposes lol. If you don't mind sharing the outcome please do so in this thread. Thanks in advance.

Well it's been a month since OP posted this. We haven't heard of him ever since, and the teacher most likely went on maternity leave by now.

I remember when my gym/health teacher was pregnant back in high school. She was a fitness freak and was all belly. She went swimming a few times and showed off her pregnant belly nicely. She also wore tight workout shirts a lot. I'd say hi and chat her up a few times walking down the hall, just asking how she was and how the baby was. One day she said "ooh there's a nice kick...would you like to feel it?" and I kinda nodded and she took my hand and put it on her belly. I may or may not have played dumb and pretended not to feel the baby kick a few times.

She actually let me feel it a few more times later in the pregnancy. I suspect she liked people touching her belly and I of course was just fine with that. Who knows maybe she knew all along I was crushing on her.

That’s an interesting observation. I think pregnant women are extremely proud of their bellies so the chances of getting to feel a pregnant woman’s belly are better than you think. They like the attention even from random strangers.

Yes there is a special type of women who "report" literally every kicking and than ask all the nearby standing strangers to feel it. Had a coworker like that and You bet that I was always the first one in the volunteers queue. :-) But Im afraid that this is not the case of original posters teacher, otherwise he would be already touching her belly ten times a day instead of posting here.

It could still be the case. The teacher is most likely no different than any proud expecting mother. The guy apparently is unaware that she is more than willing to let people feel her belly. Assuming his situation is real, he posted here to play it safe and get advice first before proceeding.
