How the heck did you manage to shot her and she didn't seem to notice?!? I've only ever been able to get such close-ups at airshows and such!

One idea is to hold the phone to your ear, pretending you are talking to someone. But instead you have the camera app on and are filming. Takes some practice, but is one way to shoot video on your phone subtly.

Yup. That's how I did it. Plus you'll need a flip cover for your phone. Otherwise, you ears would mess around with the camera's focus. Takes practice just to make sure the camera is properly angled facing the subject.
