Agreed that she’s gorgeous. Also first time I’ve seen a trans woman take a role like this.

Exactly. She plays a normal cisgender woman who becomes a surrogate mother for a middle-aged single man, leading to a personal bond forming between the two of them. She just so happened to be portrayed by a trans actress and comedian.

I would love to see more of 'em get the chance to play both trans and cisgender characters in the future (the only other actress right now who seems to be getting on the up and up is Michaela Jaé Rodriguez).
