It is a form of political correctness, also they want women to be Ms. not Mrs or Miss and to not assume an unborn baby is a "boy" or "girl" as well just refer it as a "fetus". I'm on the center-Left and consider myself a feminist in some way, I notice women are fighting for the right to drink alcohol and smoke cigs, they point out the father's sperm could have damaged DNA to produce birth defects instead of what the mother does during pregnancy, and these women also said "don't call us big, don't touch our belly and don't tell us pregnancy stories". Pregnant women fought for the right to work in any job they want, to exercise and even have sex, but she and her partner should talk about this private issue among themselves, I had it with PC-ness, "social justice" and "everything's sexist/hate/offensive/too political/too controversial". And let's not start on the issue of abortion, the most triggering issue among a large percentage or majority? of (cis-) women.
How is using weeks instead of months a form of political correctness? Also, why bring up politics at all in a thread like this?

Because...imagine you're talking to a pregnant person, "I heard you're X months pregnant"...and she gives you an evil eye with a snappy reply "WE USE WEEKS, YOU MEN DON'T GET IT". I know I posted my thoughts, but yeah, keep political, moral or ethical crap out of the thread, but it was still relevant. I always try to be a polite, respectful and "non-biased" person towards others, including pregnant women who I admire, adore, like and love so much. Maybe I should stay out of moralizing "civil rights" media sites then, I mean, I wanna read what women have to say about pregnancy, esp. they feel using weeks made more sense than months pregnant. I'm totally against fat/body-shaming and preggo-bashing...we here are worried about coming off as weird, creepy and harassing when we discuss our attraction to pregnant people.
Pregnant women are growing, showing, knowing herself...and glowing bright with life. Angel
