you might notice i said "apparently according to what she tells me" - meaning i dont entirely believe (or disbelieve) her either. just relaying what her claim is. so maybe if she tells someone else something totally different we can be sure she's lying and put this thing to rest once and for all. but i guess nuance is totally fucking lost on some people, why even bother with this shit tbh

So she gave birth around 21-22 weeks? At that point, the baby is anything but OK. You're talking about 50/50 chance of surviving.
