(September 8, 2017, 10:56 am)Haemgraffiti So, the normal belly is like you ate too much, feeling the baby under the belly is comparable to touching Idk, a knee with slightly more cushion, and a belly thats in the middle of a braxton hicks contraction is like touching a flexed muscle.
Interesting comparisons. I think my wife's "normal" pregnant belly felt more firm than when just stuffed with food, but she is pretty petite so whatever cushion she had got stretched out a lot more.

Yeah I'm on the chubby side so there's definitely more give to my bump even when having a BH!

I'm curious to know what you think your belly feels like to you from the inside, or if there's anything adequate you can compare that to. My wife always had trouble explaining it. The best she could come up with was that it felt like she had swallowed 35 pounds worth of water.

Well I actually always assumed it felt like being fat up until my pregnancy. I actually used to weigh a good 90lbs more than my pre-pregnancy weight and when I got pregnant was like "Oh great I get to remember what it feels like to be fat.
It feels like if someone shoved a basketball between my pelvis and ribs and I can't move it. It doesn't bend or squish like a water balloon. It's just there.

Yeah, I'm not sure why there's not more active ladies on here because the firmness and roundness of my belly get me GOING. Jeez Louise it's hot.

I'm not sure if it's because our culture has historically told women they need to hide and be ashamed because pregnancy means they're fat, ugly, they sinned, etc... or if it's because regardless of that tired old crap, they legitimately don't feel any hotter because of it. Either explanation (or a combination of the two) would make just as much sense.
But you, ma'am, are an absolute queen for 1) being pregnant, 2) feeling its awesome hotness in a way so many other people never can, and 3) sharing it with us poor slobs.
