been watching star trek discovery and noticed that the character of cadet tilly was starting to have some of the tells for pregnancy grab this screen capture tonight what you all think

I think she's just fat

maybe but over the course of episodes i have noticed other signs especially around face and boobs

She kinda looks pregnant. I guess we'll have to see.

Is the actress pregnant? They might not bring it up in the story line. In The Next Generation, Gates McFadden (Dr. Crusher) was pregnant through an entire season and they just hid her behind things. If you see the episode "The Host" McFadden is 8 months pregnant then, and they didn't do as well of a job hiding it. A large lab coat can only do so much.

She's a chubby one (which is cool with me - overweight people have always been underrepresented in Star Trek), but I also noticed that her stomach had a little bit of roundness to it in the last episode.

They'd have a lot harder time writing it into this series. Off the top of my head, an actress's pregnancy has only been written into Star Trek twice:

- When Nana Visitor (Kira) was pregnant during a DS9 season, they were able to cook up a Keiki O'Brien pregnancy in the storyline and then have the baby be transferred to Kira's womb after a shuttlecraft accident injured Keiko.
- When Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) was pregnant during a Voyager season, they hid it for the most part, but she was shown pregnant (with a holographic Nazi baby) during the holographic simulation the Hirogen were running while they controlled Voyager.

If she is pregnant, and they try to write it into the plot, it's likely going to be more similar to the second than the first.
