I am genuinely curious, what's up with the use of sketchball sites for sharing images instead of something reputable like imgur? Is there some kind of advantage I don't realize? They don't scrub off the exifs and they're utter minefields for popups and malware.

Imgur is removing/banning nsfw content on May 15th, so people are using other sites.
