Recently, a friend shared a link with me to an article written by a woman who became alarmed when she learned content policing AI flags pregnant bellies as sexually explicit, treating them the same as it would naked breasts. After reading the article it made me realize a few things. It expresses the writer's frustration that women's bodies are not safe from being viewed as objects to be used for sexual gratification. Even while pregnant they are subject to objectification. I'm not sure why it took AI flagging a pregnant picture as sexual content for her to realize that pregnancy is a fetish. In my opinion pregnancy has always been viewed in society as something NSFW.

Pregnancy is the end result of sexual intercourse, a fact that makes a swollen protruding belly sexual in context. A pregnant woman is like a walking billboard that says, "I HAD SEX!" Anyone that looks at a pregnant woman and instantly thanks about sex and cumming inside a vagina would not be wrong for doing so. In fact, in the early years of television, it was forbidden to show pregnant women on screen and actors could not say the word 'pregnant'. Eventually pregnancy was allowed to be featured on television however it took many years before actors could say 'pregnant'. The word 'expecting' was commonly used as a substitute.

The fetish is often blamed for why pregnant women became sexualized however nothing could be further from the truth. "Normal" people like to believe that pregnancy is something innocent therefore a pregnant woman should not be seen as a sexual object. The truth is a woman does not get pregnant by doing something innocent.

Anyway here is a link to the article.

Yet pregnant women have been sexualised for decades since Demi Moore did that naked Vanity Fair front cover 8 months pregnant. And since then various other pregnant celebrities have done similar naked photoshoots for magazines when pregnant. I bet the writer of this piece doesn't have a problem with that.

Women are very hypocritical when it comes to sexual objectification of their bodies. It is acceptable when they sell themselves to make money (OnlyFans) or utilize sex appeal to get advantages in their lives. The problem seems to be when men get sexual gratification at women's expense. Something about us getting off on them when they are not willing participants rubs them the wrong way. There is clearly a double standard going on and quite frankly anytime a woman complains about objectification I laugh and rub one out while thinking about her.

No shit. I'd be pissed too if some bozo is running up to me trying to film me and touch my stomach, or go onto my IG and steal my photos so he can brag about jerking off to them. The amount of pregnant women who don't participate in this fetish dwarfs the amount that do. It's naive and smug to assume that a pregnant woman is supposed to react positively just because there's a group of horn dogs who want to beat it to her facebook page.

But it is perfectly okay for them to act like sluts and prey on us financially selling overpriced so-called custom content and creating para social relationships with us that go far beyond a client/provider relationship. I've had friends tell me some of these women start asking for help with bills like rent and other living expenses. I've experienced those annoying interactions myself. Basically women objectify themselves to seduce us into opening our wallets. Sometimes these transactions lead to guys getting scammed. Hypocritical women will get mad at us for simply expressing that we find pregnant women sexually desirable, that we enjoy communities like this one. Even when they are not the direct subject of our arousal they hate our guts for using other pregnant women as fuel for sexual gratification.

From women's prospective sexual objectification of women, pregnant or not, is acceptable only when they do it for their own personal gain but how dare us filthy men jerk off to them for free and they get nothing out of it.

The writer of the article that inspired this thread is basically saying it is wrong for men to sexually objectify pregnant women. That means don't create art for the purposes of jacking off to it. Don't write stories, don't have communities like this one. Pregnant women are sacred and should be off limits to our erections. Blah, Blah, Blah.

Okay Karen.

Meanwhile pregnant women and teens are teasing us on social media doing stuff that is sexually suggestive. Preggos broadcasting on webcam sites like Chaturbate. Pregnant women have always been sexulized in society and they always will be. Karens can get mad and write puff pieces all they want. It won't stop me from getting off to those lovely swollen protruding belies.

They aren’t acting like sluts, they’re simply capitalizing on the fact that there are horny men out there who will pay for premium content. You should be more mad about the men who willingly purchase the content they make. It’s sex work, it’s their literal job. They wouldn’t be selling anything if there weren’t men horny enough to buy it.

Besides, the brunt of the article has to do with the concept of consent to being sexualized. Sure, we can all say that we think pregnant woman are sexy as hell, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be women who are understandably creeped out by that thought. Our perspective is different from them.

Plus, having spoken to women who have been pregnant and heard of this wonderful fetish of ours, they have almost universally stated that it’s not the fact that people find them attractive that creeps them out, it’s the way it’s done. It falls more along the lines of being objectified, which lines up perfectly with the article. Most fetishes are harmless and rely on a specific item/concept, like people who like glasses or feet. In our case, it’s the most emotionally exhausting time of a woman’s life. They don’t see us sexualizing them as a positive because the implications are not in their favor.

tl;dr Acting like it’s wrong for women to not want to be objectified is insane. Just crank your hog in peace without being an asshole to women online

At the end of the day nothing is inherently sexual. You can literally name anyone or any thing, and there is someone out there who has a fetish for it. The term 'Sexual objectificatoin' has never made sense to me. It seems like a false dychotomy that you can't be sexually attracted to someone, yet view them as a person. People seem to forget that when you post any sort of media online, you're publishing it to the public domain. It feels like a lot of people just want to kink shame, and gatekeep other people's sexuality. At the end of the day finding a certain body type attractive isn't hurting anyone.

There is certainly some grey area with regards to adult content creators. There isn't anything inherenetly wrong with it. As I just stated, I think that people often don't like it because they want to gatekeep others sexuality. Having said that, I think that there needs to be more regulation, and ethical guidelines. I don't know what that would be exactly, but I think it's far too unregulated at the moment.

It's literally one woman's perspective. Stop acting like every pregnant woman is acting slutty and teasing you. Why do you keep mixing porn stars and regular women together like they're all against you?
