Just to help you guys out, try using a BVR (background video recorder) app to record videos.
Just search "background video recorder" on play store. I use Click link and it works very well. I have not tried on a low-mid spec phone, but it should work fine with other apps closed.
Fiddle around with settings at home. like having a save directory in a (theres a period in front) ->> .foldername to prevent gallery apps from adding videos to your gallery (keep your content a secret)

Apologies if these look lower qualities than the others - my back camera broke so I had to film the other way round with less quality - figured grainier pics are better than none.

Sorry, didn't see this.

Yup she popped about a week ago apparently at 40 weeks or so (crazy big for twins) - I was bummed but there's some decent pictures for me to look back on. I'm hoping she'll post something to her Facebook now that she's given birth, so I'm uh... kind of stalking that. Will update if so.
