Yea, so up grades is over 10 years. I've been looking at satellite,. Does anyone have or use Exede?? Yes there are caps but I can throttle the streaming declvixes to make it last longer.

I haven't used Excede, but I did use Hughsnet in the past, and I have to say that Satellite Internet is hit or miss at best. Just like Satelitte TV, it works great when it's sunny outside, but when it gets cloudy or rains/snows, it slows to a crawl.

Like Taco said, I would be worried about service outages in bad weather. Spectrum and Verizon Fios offer some nice internet only packages. If they service your area, I would check them out.
