You’re probably trolling, but I’m pretty sure forcing someone to leave a job or “take a break” or whatever because they’re pregnant is illegal and a form of discrimination. Also why would you want that?

I was just asking a question. I have nothing against pregnant workers. No need to jump to conclusions.

As preggophiles we should be encouraging pregnant women to put themselves in front of cameras. Whenever they do it means more content for us to consume. I’d rather they work as long as possible so we get to see them at their biggest and most full term body. It’s disappointing when working pregnant women utilize maternity leave and disappear before we get to see them at their fullest.

Sometimes actresses' pregnancies don't get written into their shows. In How I Met Your Mother for example, both Alyson Hannigan (Lily) and Cobie Smulders (Robin) were pregnant, but neither actress had their pregnancies written into the show. They continued to work while pregnant by using creative camera angles and blocking objects to hide being pregnant while filming those seasons. (There was a couple shots of Alyson that showed her being pregnant, but they were pretending that she had just won an eating contest both times.)

New Girl actually replaced Zooey Deschanel (Jess) with Megan Fox (Reagan) for half of a season while Zooey was on maternity leave (in show, sequestered for jury duty iirc). The chemistry of the cast was thrown off by the switch.

Remember Scarlet Johansen During the first Avengers? She was in the early stages of pregnancy and they had to speed up the filming of her parts to get her in before she was too big, and reduced her slightly visible bulge with CGI because it showed through her signature skin-tight suite. Personally I would have preferred they tried getting her pregnant over and over until she got knocked up with twins, and waited until she was 42 weeks pregnant film anything.

@Uterusfullofwater It was during filming of the second Avengers film, Age of Ultron, when she was pregnant.

It was Age of Ultron and ironically, in that movie she talks about how she was forcibly sterilized during her training and therefore can never have kids. So they kind of went in the complete opposite direction there.
