(August 5, 2020, 9:22 pm)Gizzymo You carried your first bump so well! All my wishes, you have an equally graceful second pregnancy. I also share a similar desire! I am currently contesting with my fears of birth, but can't wait to go through a few pregnancies! I want to be a good wife and mother someday. Glad to see other women with similar ideas as me.
My birth with my first was amazing and terrifying. There were quite a few medical complications at the end that you can never anticipate. My son had to be revived. Having experienced all that even with my terrible anxiety disorder I would gladly do it all again. There is something about birth that despite how traumatic or painful it is you realize you would do it in a heartbeat once you see your baby.

It's okay to be afraid and hesitant, your feelings are valid. Even if you go through your whole first pregnancy afraid of birth just know it doesn't make you any less of a good wife or mother. Even if despite liking the idea of pregnancy or birth you HATE the actual reality of it, that doesn't make you less of a good mother or wife.  Good vibes your way and baby dust when you decide to actively start trying!

(August 3, 2020, 8:41 pm)bellydude22 You had a beautiful belly! Congratulations and looking forward to the new belly.
Thank you! Me too! Hoping for a 10lb baby this time!

Congratulations you looked so amazing with your first!  Loved seeing the tiger stripes in some of those pictures.  I can't wait to see you this time around.
How far along were you when you went into labor?  You mentioned complications during labor did you have to get an emergency c-section?
How big was your 1st?

Our 2nd and 3rd were both over 10lbs.  Our 1st probably would have been 10lbs+ too, but the dr was concerned she would be too big and was born early.

I delivered at 41 weeks! The complications were because he rotated and got stuck sideways. They had to dislocate his shoulder, and there was also meconium in his lungs so he needed to be resuscitated. No emergency c section though, they managed to get him out in time!

He was 9lbs 7oz and 22 inches long.

What was the best part about the first pregnancy? And are there any comparisons between that one and this one?

The best part was The sex and the belly. Because of all the blood flow and extra pressure I literally came from one finger just being put inside me! They’re actually completely different! My first was a breeze only heartburn in the end and some shortness of breath. This one is KILLING ME. Nausea, fatigue, heartburn, stomach issues, hip pain, back pain, you name it!

Glad things ended well and the Dr was able to get him out.

Our 1st was born at 39 weeks with induced labor.  Wife couldn't take the discomfort anymore backed by the Dr's concern that baby girl might be getting too big.  TL;DR Our big girl was out with less than 30 min of pushing.  It was the 2nd time in my life, I almost caught the baby because the Dr almost didn't make it to the room.

She was 9Lbs 8oz.  I remember the nurses being excited at her being so chunky and thinking she was over 11lbs before they did the official weight.

Our 2nd a boy a natural birth with no drugs.  He was born at 42wks + 1day at 11lbs 14 oz.  He stayed the longest and was the biggest of our 3.

Let's give a little credit to the owner of that magical finger. And for the record it was a thumb.
