Downloading is a huge waste of time and storage when these 2+ hour recordings only have 10 minutes of movements and the rest is just the model sitting there doing nothing. I end up just paying the $20 and screen record with OBS anyways. At least then I can skip to the good parts instead of having to download a 4+GB file, then spent time editing out the filler.

I'll be honest, I'm quite surprised Chaturbate hasn't done something like Recurbate, have creators opt in to recording their stream, then people can pay the creator to see the stream back. Kinda like twitch with VODs etc.

Either way, Recurbate is definitely not taking many chances now.

That's because it's a horrible idea when you already have to deal with tens of thousands of models on a daily basis. Hulu and Netflix don't have to deal with new content being added almost every minute, nor the consistant turnover of models joining, getting banned, and or never returning. It wouldn't make sense for them to keep recordings of a model who popped 6 months ago and never returned.

Basically the porn version of Twitch/Youtube. Those platforms are fine despite having the same problems but on a larger scale.

ok I was wrong. they give you 1 video a day with a free account. but download takes forever with video downloadhelper. most of the time I have 600 kb/s. maximum is 1 mb/s. its so slow. well but what ever. there was maybe 1 good cam model in 2023

That's still a bad idea. Youtube/Twitch make their money by putting advertisements and sponsorships all over the video and in Twitch's case, encourages subs and gifts.

Most Chaturbate users don't even pay for tokens as is, let alone will be willing to pay for a subscription or want to sit through ads. The bulk of cam models are Colombians who dont know an ounce of english, so already sponserships are out the window. 

Truth is not enough people would be willing to pay for porn to justify CB to even attempt the service. Why do you think this thread exists in the first place?  If Quasa wanted to spend the money on a sub then we wouldn'tnt be here right now.

I can't even sub on recu.me if I wanted. the only payment option is crypto currency. and for that you need a credit card and a smartphone which I both don't own

Oh so its something like camvault (or whatever it was) thing.. the archiver cam websites are pretty decent, the only problem (now that camshowhub.to is gone) you have to manually insert "performers"..

No Camvault is miles better and is cheaper. I don't know why more people don't use it consider you can download the video straight from MEGA, they don't cut off the unpopular models, and they record MFC and Stripchat models as well.

I dont know how long you haven't used camvault, but they search/tags are kinda liked other sites now (practically horseshit).. the models are there but hard to search just liked every other site.. Especially new discovery (with the death of camshowhub as an index) pretty much reliant back onto this forums..

I'm using it as of right now and it's met all of my requirements. I never had a problem with search/tag since I know the exact name of the model every time and I haven't found one that I couldn't add to the site. I don't waste time either and have a list of current models that I'll download recordings of daily, which functions the same as recurbate.
