I have a similar story, but we were watching a pregnant teen movie (15 and pregnant I believe) and during the birth scene, some kid was applauding when she was screaming in pain. I never asked him about it since he was one of those kids who liked wearing trench coats and anything from Marylin Manson.

Well, both of those earn a solid yikes on all fronts. Whoof.

During my wife's first pregnancy I managed to determine that a good friend of mine had the fetish. My suspicion started with a few comments here and there - nothing inappropriate, I just noticed that he was asking her the types of questions that I ask pregnant women. I knew that he was beating around the bush to touching her belly because I do the same thing. As my wife's due date got closer I became certain that he was part of the club.

The kicker was when we were at a party about a month before her due date, and my wife was wearing a tight dress. He was taking pictures of everybody there, but kept wanting a lot of pictures of us. At one point my wife was standing between the two of us and he had his camera at his side pointed our direction, and all of a sudden the flash went off. I looked at him and he just made this goofy face and walked off. There was no doubt in my mind that he took a picture of her belly.

I gave it some time and then prodded him about it a couple years later, but in a friendly way. When he finally admitted it I said, "Why didn't you just ask to touch her damn belly? You know she would have let you." He just sighed. During her second pregnancy I needled him constantly about it and finally, the last time we had dinner with him and his wife before my wife's due date, I said, "Dude, just touch her fucking belly already." He turned about five shades of red.

I haven't personally, no... Male or female. I think this may be because it's still frowned upon, so some like myself feel compelled to remain silent.

I know there's women out there who do accept and understand the pregnancy fetish (and I'm sure we’ve all seen videos of them...), but I've never personally come across one yet.

I was hoping one of my work colleagues who was pregnant about three years ago might have had 'something' there, but I overheard her say "it’s weird how some men get off on this...", looking down on her bump as she talked to another colleague opposite her. I will admit that upset me a bit as she always come across as the type of person to show understanding.

I assume he either didn't want to piss you off or he had a bad experience prior with asking a pregnant woman. Did you end up telling your wife about it, or did she knew after the party?

I told her after the party and we both thought it was funny.

Yes, a few.

1. I went on two dates with a woman who shares the fetish, but we didn't click in any way other than that, so we didn't see each other again.
   
2. I emailed, texted, and Skyped for a few weeks with a woman who lived near me and was interested in becoming a surrogate, in large part due to the fetish. Unfortunately, she turned out to be emotionally unstable and I chose to end things before we ever set a date to meet up.
   
3. I do semi-routinely come into contact with women on Craigslist who seem to share the fetish. However, like #2 there, I always end up doing the *slowly backs away* thing because they tend to be... well, crazy, for completely unrelated reasons.
   

I hold out hope that I will eventually be able to find a woman to share this with, though. I love pregnancy and I'm not crazy -- actually very boring and stable -- so I know there has got to be at least one female equivalent for me out there. I'm nothing special.
