Wow! That last picture... mmmmm
MummRa
That last pic is probably one of my all time favourites. Absolutely god tier.
MummRa
Also she mentioned that the bikini pics are from a pilot for a show where she would have played the mother of the anti-christ. Shame it didn’t get picked up.

I know this is a necro, but I have not only new amazing photos to share, but also a call to arms for us. This was posted on the Lost Media Wiki forums about a week ago. Please read this:

"In February 2020, Dan Gregor, Betsy Sodaro, and Rachel Bloom shot a pilot episode for a comedy TV series called “Mother Mary”. The premise: The Second Coming of Christ finally arrives, and the main character of the show, Mary, is chosen to give birth to Jesus. The catch: Mary is incredibly lazy, selfish, irresponsible, and overall not an ideal mother-to-be.

Production of the pilot wrapped in February 2020, and was set to be picked up for a full series…Until the network producing it, Pop TV, folded completely. Killing any hope of Mother Mary becoming a full series.

I’m a big fan of Rachel Bloom, and the web-series the concept was based on was pretty funny (linked here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvMZxK22whIvU1fGvLfPKXKfWZLkdBqWK ), so I wanted to know more about what Mother Mary would have been like had it come to fruition.

So I contacted Rachel Bloom about it, and to my surprise, she actually got back to me. She said the pilot was completed, and does exist somewhere, but she does not have a copy of it, unfortunately.

However, she was kind enough to give me the full script for the pilot, the call sheet (which lists every single person who worked on the pilot), and about 50 set photos. All of which, to my knowledge, are not posted anywhere else online.

I was so ecstatic and grateful, and immediately set out contacting people who were listed on the call sheet, to see if anyone had the completed pilot. This went one of three ways:

1. No response at all
2. They responded, but did not have the pilot
3. They DO have the pilot, but weren’t sure if they could share it, since Pop TV still technically owns the rights, despite being defunct.

I was able to find two short clips of the pilot online, on Diana Fishman’s (the person who edited the pilot) website. She has them there as part of her editing portfolio. Linked here: lemurvillage.com/project/mother-mary/

I’ve been searching for a little while now, but I think I’ve hit a dead end. So, I thought I’d try making a post here, in the hopes that the community here can reach out to crew members on that call sheet, and maybe get a response from someone I wasn’t able to. Or maybe there’s even a crew member on these forums that’d be willing to share the pilot and/or raw footage.

Here’s a link to a Google Drive that contains the call sheet, script, set photos, and the two pilot clips I was able to find:

drive.google.com/drive/folders/1sIDKq9uRSJ-cZJ1p9PIKhJ3zXaGyooVl?usp=sharing

Thank you so much to anyone who’s willing to help track down this pilot! Judging from the script, I really think it could have been a fun show, and its a shame it never got a chance.

I uploaded the clips to YouTube, if that's easier to share around: youtu.be/t6vADMkFbgk?si=BD_7W41yAltayaNd

As of right now, NO ONE has responded to this on the Lost Media Wiki forums. No one over there seems to care. So, if we want to see that footage of Rachel Bloom heavily pregnant in that red bikini, it looks like its up to us.

Just, for the love of all that is good, if you do decide to use the crew call sheet to contact people, BE COOL ABOUT IT. Don't be a mega creep about it, just tell them you look into lost media as a hobby and want to try and preserve this project.

Rachel Bloom is one of my favorite celebrity pregnancies. Let's all pull together and make this happen! ^-^

I remember that, she posted some throwback photos of her on set in the bikini to talk about it. Her exact words were "if you wanna see the show that was most likely gonna replace “Schitt’s Creek” bug cbstvstudios (Instagram) to post the pilot somewhere or tweet at everyone in Hollywood that you want to see this TV series." She was confident in it, apparently.

I reached out to a bunch of people on that call sheet, but have only heard back from one person so far. And he doesn't have the pilot. :/

Anyone else having any luck?

What, about Preggophilia? No, of course not. I used my personal email to contact these people. In my previous post I even explicitly told people here to not be creeps and just say they want to find the pilot for lost media preservation's sake.

Read the damn post before you comment. -_-
