Just wanted to address something that I think we could all be better at. We all know that we can't control what kind of crazy stupid shit people post out there on the internet that makes us all look like creepy weirdos which is why we have lots of rules in place about linking profiles, waiting until the end, etc. Almost all of us do a really good job at representing the community well outside of here. Which is great! All it takes is one bad apple to spoil everything but whatever, we can't control that. What we *can* control is everything we post in here. And again, for the most part, we do a really good job representing the community in here as well. But I have an idea for a golden rule that can take this forum to the next level: "Post as if all pregnant women are reading what you're posting." That's right. In my opinion, everything we post here should either be 1) content 2) questions about content 3) positive comments about content) or 4) healthy discussion about content. I feel like we all need to act as though every pregnant woman is wandering to our corner of the net and is either going to have a positive or negative opinion about our community right away. In all that you do, here and elsewhere, act as though the pregnant woman you're following, or crushing on, or dating, or whatever, is reading what you're writing, and we might all be better for it. Thoughts...?

At this point you're just preaching to the choir. Plus the damage has been done regarding the reputation of this site.
I guess you're right. I'm mostly referring to the psychotic stalker-ish level threads like Amy D and the pleasant "pregnant asshole" thread that's been front and center on the home page for a few days. Not to mention all the stupid bickering about reposts and unnecessary comments that add nothing. Oh well. I suppose the people who already follow my golden rule will keep doing so, and the people who don't won't change. :/
Do you really think that most of the content-related stuff that is posted here is going to leave a good impression on the proverbial pregnant woman that stumbles onto this site? People trawling social media accounts, reposting content for which they don't have rights or permission, generally objectifying pregnant women, etc. All of us do pretty much all of that, whether overtly or subconsciously. Without it, this site doesn't serve much purpose.
This site is what it is, and people will think what they'll think about it.
Yeah, I mean I get where you're coming from and what you're wishing for, but @doubleintegral is completely on point here. 99% of pregnant women would lose their shit at the thread titles alone -- there's no salvaging that. You get a few wonderful, rare women like Winnie or Toodlez who are into this shit for their own enjoyment and aren't squicked out, but everyone else...
This site and this 'community', like most (and I would say all) fetish communities, will always be looked down upon by those outside of it. The bad apples will always be seen first. All you can do as an individual to keep your self feeling good about it is to practice what you preach, show others that even though you may have the fetish you aren't obsessed enough by it that you forget the humanity of the person who embodies that fetish. Treat them kindly on and off line, respect their boundaries, if someone requests their pictures removed, remove them, etc. You can only deal with yourself, advise others, and put a good face on what can be seen as strange. That's all.
