So I know a few pretenders here and realized that we never had a thread about pretending methods, food/liquid stuffing, air inflation, pushing out the belly, fabric bellies etc.

 What are your favorite methods? Any advice for those wanting to pretend?

Well the top two and most predominant way for creating a fake belly is either water balloons or some kind of stuffing clothes into a shirt or pillowcase. There’s the rare off chance that someone owns an actual fake pregnant belly. Water balloons are the most easiest way to go cause it gives the weight and feel of a pregnant belly.

Another way is a beach ball and a maternity belly band. Its super cheap at walmart, light, and fairly realistic looking. Downside is that its light as its just air, and touching it doesnt feel realistic

I know on the pretending pregnancy post a few of them posted what they use, but a thread devoted to method is a great idea!

Main issue ive had with water is there is nothing to suppoet it well. Like the band has no support, and ive never gotten ace bandaids to work. I know support hose wouls but i think that would sag alot too

I was watching Mythbusters a while ago and thought of a new method: Ballistic gel.

Adam and Jamie used to for years since it's the closest thing to human skin for their experiments. It's pretty cheap and easy to make at home. It never molds or rots, plus you can store it away, reheat it, and mold it into any shape that you want. You can put some in one of those giant plastic bags and put a belly band around it to simulate a jiggly belly.

Isn't ballistic gel like insanely expensive?

@"bballconnor" Hence why I mentioned you can make it at home for cheap. All you need is boiling water, a container for it to set in, and unflavored gelatin, which you can buy in bulk for not that much.

Not a bad idea if you can find it for cheaper than a silicone belly. Would be cool to make bigger and unrealistic sizes with it

I have two methods for pretending.

The first method is my old method, which I have used, more or less since the beginnings of my pregnancy fetish, it has changed & improved over the years. It's different from most peoples methods due to my circumstances, It's complicated, time consuming to set up, but for me it's worth it, cause I get can get HUGE using it.
The second method is new, but similar and less complicated.

(the old method, simplified)

- I start by putting on two layers of tights & a one piece swimsuit.
(I use plus sizes for the tights & swimsuit, those work best for me - I currently use 8x size tights that are high waisted, and a 26W size modest one piece swimsuit. I also remove the front inner lining of the swimsuit before I actually use it, for better stretch. It's best to use swimsuits with a polyester / spandex material, I find swimsuits made with nylon / lycra tend to have less stretch.)

Now I stuff a thick, soft blanket inside the 2nd layer of tights & the swimsuit. Then I start shaping a pregnant belly with my hands. When I have a belly shape I like I then stuff in another blanket or two to make the belly bigger, I repeat this step until there is no more room.
Other objects like small pillows, and other clothing can also work for stuffing.  
the downside of this method is that the fake bump will sag due to gravity & weight. The advantage of this method is I can get really huge, & the belly looks slightly different each time. 
I only really use this method now is when I want to pleasure myself in bed.

(new method)

- A fake foam pregnant belly which I recently purchased from ebay. It doesn't have a belt or anything for support, so I stuff it in between two layers of tights and a leotard.
works well, it's lightweight & I can actually do things when wearing it.

I use a children's rubber play ball. It's not a perfect shape, but it does the trick. They're cheap and you can get them at places like Wal-Mart etc.

I keep it simple with just Balloons, Shapewear, and Maternity Clothes.
