I say let this mother wear her damn crop top! Who cares if people are offended or not?! Hell, people don't judge men for having BEER BELLIES, so why should she get denied service for exposing her beautiful pregnant belly?! SMH... our world is so easily offended these days... If I worked there, I'd say, "Hey, leave this poor woman alone, here's a free meal for you and your family. It's my generosity."

Here are my 2 cents
1. The pregnancy thing could or couldn't be a factor. Places want certain people to eat there, they don't want others dressed like they are going to the club or that they came from the hood. that's all. if any woman had walked in with that kind of top or (boobs half out, booty shorts) they would be asked to leave too. There is a time and place for clothes. You wear certain things at certain places. Those kind of tops are good for: Hooters, BWW and eating outside at let's say a food truck or Sonic. That's fine. if food places had more people with mid-drifts and possibly their "girls" half out then normal people wouldn't want to come back. The preggo is fine but it is just the top. If anyone had warned that top, or small shorts they would be asked to leave. That shirt doesn't qualify for most places because when they say shirt they mean it goes to your pants or skirt. They don't say crop tops aren't allowed because it is common sense. But I think if she had come to pick up an order or wait for an order then they would let her stay.
2. my mom has been pregnant many times (gets huge at the 6th month mark) (& my sister has been pregnant many times) and what they do is: they wear shirts that usually cover their belly & they have them lifted up all the way above their bellies & they never got asked to leave. Maybe the world just can't handle pregnant bellies yet. If a famous person had warn that top while pregnant and ate there, they'd let them stay and take a picture with them. In every pregnancy my mom had, she always had her belly showing in stores, malls and food places. No one had a problem, she got some confused looks though.
lastly: as I said above.. there are times and places to wear clothes. I'm not picking sides but if a regular woman walked in their with that shirt on the same thing would have happened (unless the person waiting on them in a turned on guy, now that's another story)

American culture/morals/society, just leave her alone. If a woman wears a shirt that won't cover her pregnant belly, it's not a threat to anyone and don't start with "think of the children". The female waitress wasn't using the best judgement, at least the pregnant woman was still wearing clothing, according to the "No shirt, no shoes" rule. I won't even bother a pregnant woman in public if her belly sticks out her shirt. No different than a pregnant lady in a bikini at the beach or waterpark.
Pregnant women are growing, showing, knowing herself...and glowing bright with life.
