I got to run a few pregnant bellies today, always nice. The first was at Walmart. She was young looking and Hispanic, unfortunately she was walking with her mother. I worked up the courage and asked her as she walked by if she was having a boy or girl. She looks at me smiles and says both:-). I asked her if it was twins and she said yes. Then I reached out my hand and asked her if I could feel and she said yes. She looked 8 or 9 months pregnant. She said she was due in January. She was all belly and is going to waddle for sure. I would have asked her out of her mom wasn't there.


The second is my fav. She is a Hispanic girl and works the front desk at the hotel I'm staying at. I go out and get ice and then chat her up. She's due in dec and looks like she could pop any minute. I was rubbing her belly and got bold and just asked if I could see her belly. So she smiled and lifted her shirt. This has been going on for a week now. So now I can just lift her shirt up and rub her belly when I go get ice. She seems to like getting her belly rubbed. She let me take some pics too, I'll post them soon.

Meh, I wish I had preggo friends like that

I haven't been offered the privilege by a stranger before, nor have I asked. Maybe next opportunity I may ask if the conversation is friendly and open.

Man oh man, has been a decade or so since the last time I was invited (or I asked) to rub a pregnant belly. I don't want to be a bother to any pregnant stranger in public, esp. where I work (grocery store clerk and my past as a garden center associate), but I like to give her a very nice compliment that she's beautiful and she's going to be a great mother. Rubbing pregnant bellies is a personal thing to do, usually done with family (esp. younger children out of curiosity) or close friends, and not limited to women rubbing her bellies, even as a male I was permitted to rub or feel friends' pregnant bellies.

38 weeks. I don't think it will go anywhere
